About this experience
Parasailing is one of the most memorable experiences you can have in Puerto de Mogán: you clip into a parachute launched from a boat up to 50 m high and enjoy the Atlantic and the south coast of Gran Canaria from a perspective you will not see any other way.
The activity is safer than it looks. Takeoff and landing happen from the boat platform (you do not touch the water unless you want to), the harness is designed for you to fly seated and comfortable, and all the gear is professional and checked daily. The crew is certified and accompanies you at all times with clear instructions before and during the flight.
Total experience is around 1 hour, with about 15 minutes of actual air time. You can fly solo, in pairs or in trios. No previous experience. Suitable from age 12 with adult permission. A perfect activity to top off a beach day with something different.

Is it dangerous?
No. All gear is professional and checked. You take off and land on the boat, no water contact. Life vest always on.
Will I get wet?
Usually not. You only get wet if the skipper "baptises" you on purpose and you want to (fun, but optional).
Is there a weight limit?
Yes: between 40 kg and 110 kg per person for solo flight. For pairs and trios the combined weight is regulated per day.
Minimum age?
12 with authorisation from a responsible adult. Minors always fly with an adult.
Any vertigo?
Surprisingly little. The ascent is gradual and the harness is comfortable. Even people with fear of heights enjoy it.
Total duration?
Around 1 hour including prep, boat ride and flight. Airborne time ≈ 15 minutes.
