About this experience
Some trips are too good to squeeze into a few hours. This is a full day at sea in Gran Canaria for your private group, with time to explore the coast properly, swim when you feel like it and slow right down, and the option of extending it with a night on board so you wake up on the water.
We sail along the south-west coast of Gran Canaria, the side of the island that sits in the lee of the trade winds and usually has the calmest sea. With a whole day, you can reach the parts of the coast that shorter trips cannot: beyond the end of the road, the cliffs of Veneguera, El Perchel and Güigüí can only really be seen from the water, and the further west you go, the more time you need.
The day combines activity and rest. There are swimming stops, time to relax on deck and meals on board, with a professional captain looking after the boat and the route. If you choose the overnight option, you spend the night on board and disembark the next day, after seeing the sunrise from the sea.
Because every group is different, this experience is priced on request. Nothing. Sending the form is a quote request, not a booking: there is no charge and no place is held. We reply with a tailored proposal, and only if you accept it do we confirm the date and explain how to pay.
Where do we meet?
We sail from the marina at Puerto de Mogán, in the south-west of Gran Canaria. The exact pontoon and time are in your confirmation once you accept the quote.
Do we have to stay overnight?
No. The overnight stay is an option. Tell us in your request whether you want a full day only or the day plus a night on board.
Which meals are included?
Meals on board are part of the experience. Your quote sets out exactly what is included, and we can take dietary needs into account if you tell us in advance.
How many people can come?

Do I need a boat licence?
No. A professional captain is in charge of the boat throughout.
What if the weather is bad?
Every trip depends on the sea. If the skipper decides conditions are not safe, we offer you a new date or cancel at no cost: you pay nothing until the day. We let you know by phone as soon as we know, sometimes the same morning.
